01/19/2025 - Pants Karaoke presents: Bowie Only

The one night of the year where the theme is mandatory.

Hallo Spaceboys and Spacegirls!

It's January again, which can mean only one thing. Ok, ok, it can mean a lot of things, but only one thing that really matters: Bowie Night. Our annual karaoke tribute to David Bowie, which the one night of the year that the karaoke theme is not optional. All Bowie and Bowie-adjacent songs, all night. We're also going to be attempting to do a Hunky Dory full album karaoke rock block somewhere in the middle of the night.

Feel free to call dibs on one Bowie song, but only do so if you're planning on coming out to sing with us. Leave your dibs in the Facebook event comments, or send me a message if you'd prefer. And yes, if you want to guarantee that you'll get to be part of the Hunky Dory rock block, you'll have to use your dibs for that. Here's a list of Bowie songs that I have access to - if you're looking for one that's not on the list, let me know sooner rather than later and I'll see if I can make it into karaoke before Sunday.

I don't have a list of Bowie-adjacent songs, but pretty much anything that Bowie collaborated on and anything that's about Bowie counts. If you're unsure, just ask!
